Before attempting to generate a shareable link, verify that your account meets these technical requirements:
Web & App Activity must be turned on. If your Search History is disabled, you cannot generate or share links.
Use a personal account. Google Workspace accounts (including enterprise and education tiers) do not support this feature.
Avoid Incognito mode. You must be actively signed into your Google account in a standard browsing tab. How to Share on Desktop Computers
Navigate to standard Google Search for AI Overviews, or visit Google AI Mode. Scroll to the bottom of the AI-generated response blocks.
Click the Share button located next to the feedback options.
Choose Copy Link to save it to your clipboard, or select a native social platform button to post directly.

Open the official Google App or access Google Search through a mobile browser.
For exploratory searches, tap AI Mode directly on your app home screen.
Locate the Share icon at the base of the AI overview text segment.
Select your preferred app (e.g., WhatsApp, Messages, Slack) from the system share sheet, or choose Copy to handle the link manually. Managing Your Shared Links
When you generate a link, it ties into your account history for retrieval and organization.
Finding Old Shared Content: To review or re-copy your shared links later, navigate directly to your AI Mode History panel.
