The ELOTTRONIX XL by ⁠Elogoxa is a classic freeware VST audio plugin engineered to emulate “Frippertronics,” the famous tape-delay soundscape technique pioneered by guitarist Robert Fripp and producer Brian Eno. Mimicking the behavior of two vintage Revox B-77 tape decks running a continuous tape loop, this “XL” version heavily expands upon the original software with a complete rewrite and a powerful array of creative sound design options.
